The John M. Glover Agency has been servicing the insurance needs of the Fairfield County area for years. We are pleased to announce that Rachael Bassett has joined the John M. Glover Agency as Senior Vice President, Manager of Commercial Lines and Human Resources. With over 20 years of industry experience, Ms. Bassett most recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations at Carnall Insurance, Inc. in Ridgefield. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President, Operations at R. C. Knox & Company, Inc. in Hartford where she was employed for 18 years.
Ms. Bassett will have a dual role in the agency. She is responsible for the overall service operation of our Commercial Insurance Department and also takes on a newly created position, Manager of Human Resources.
Ms. Bassett is an active supporter of the United Way and was Chairperson for the 2001 Day of Caring for the Eastern Fairfield County Chapter. She holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and is an active member of the Southern Connecticut Chapter of SHRM. She is currently pursuing her SPHR certification.
